Why do Engineers enjoy watching steelwork come down? Because it is Riveting

Our biggest and most noticable difference on site in the last six months is that the large brickshed has slowly disappeared. Works began in September and the demoltion of the building is almost complete. Once removed, work can begin on capping this area to stop the clean surface runoff getting into the capped area through the brickshed foundations. Currently when clean water lands on the area around the brickshed, the water drains through the foundations through the contaminated land, under our clay cap and joins the leachate lagoon as contaminated water adding to the issues. By blocking the shed foundations with a clay cap will mean clean water will now drain into our above cap drainage and run off the site as clean water.
