Making hay whilst the rain pours

Our seed rich green hay arrived this week from nearby Langdon Nature Reserve managed by Essex Wildlife Trust. This is part of the Coronation Meadows project and the seed it contains will have allowed us to create around 8 hectares of wildflower meadow in South Ockendon, Thurrock, United Kingdom. This is roughly the size of 11 and a half football pitches and will be a huge help to wildlife in the area.
